America posted a sketch challenge; "Think Snow" Please go to her blog at http://cardsbyamerica.blogspot.com/ to join in. It became a real challenge as it was 85 degrees out today and when I took a beautiful walk at 5:30am this morning in full view of the beautiful snow capped Rocky Mtns. It was hard to get into the winter mood. But I pulled out my Christmas paper and went to work. This snowflake was inked with Versa Icicle and is a verigated blue then I used a Stamp-a-ma-gig to stamp over the snowflake with Versa Mark then used Heat & Stick Powder, set, then sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on top. Photo doesn't show it very well. The fabric was draped then glued to Whisper White paper for a background and also for the background on the button. Another background paper was created using Ranger Distress Inks Broken China & Weathered Wood. The word "Cheers" was stamped using SU! Cool Caribbean. The snowflake embossed vellum paper was placed over the Baja Blue Card.
This is also in compliance with SCS Challenge WT220 #Buttons#. Recipe: Stamps: SU! The Snowflake Spot Ink: SU! Cool Caribbean, Versa Color Icicle, Versa Mark, Ranger Distress Broken China & Weathered Wood. Paper: SU! Baja Blue, Night of Whisper White, snowflake embossed vellum Unkown. Assc: Heat & Stick Powder, Dazzling Diamonds, Ribbon from Michaels, Clear button.
I hope this will inspire you to do a winter card.

This is a beautiful card and that is exactly why I was looking this morning to have something to inspire me. Did you stamp the snowflake twice? Once on the paper and another one that you cut out?
