Thanks Julia, for another push to use what I have with the button challenge today! Just recently I sorted all my vintage buttons to a two tier spice jar swivel rack. You can see a picture of it in the album at the top of my gallery. They are a breeze to use now, all sorted by color, or metal. I WANT to add button to my art now. The card is also for the 365 Card blog challenge to use purple and at least 5 circles on your card.
Well, that was easy with my A Stamp in the Hand eggplants and the itty bitty buttons down the left side of one of the purple gems! I used 5 different hues of purple ink directly to GP white cs. The green portions are paper pieced from Memory Box Sprout paper. I added a Hero Arts (I think) sentiment. The striped mat is also Memory Box which was cuttled with the distressed striped folder. I mounted this onto PTI perfect plum paper, adding a scallop punched border. Twiggy fiber trim completes my card.
Thanks for looking, this is flying outta here to encourage a dear friend who has become jobless after 16 years...I want her to know she is not defined by the job...

I fell in love with these eggplants at first sight (don't ask me why, I just love them though). Whoda thunk there'd be not only an eggplant stamp but a multiple size and shapes eggplant stamp!! And WOW purple buttons to play them up. LOVE IT!!

This is beautiful Susan. I have never seen an eggplant look so beautiful. I love the deep rich purples and greens. Great idea for your buttons. I have been the recipient of your vintage buttons. They are fabulous. This darn economy. Hugs to your friend.
