Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Beautiful Buttons!
Okay...first, I think you should know...We have had several CATastrophies this week...The NEW sink is in the bathroom. It's bolted to the wall but still not hooked up. So, we are brushing our teeth in the kitchen... I tried to do it while showering, and it's just too yucky. Anyway, I had to move all the "kitchen stuff" onto the Glass top stove. The coffee maker, rice cooker and teakettle were just fine staying there for the last few days. Until this morning...And, I swear, I have NO CLUE how this happened, but one of the burners came on and the house filled with smoke and the NEW $189 coffee maker MELTED onto the stove top. SERIOUSLY!!! After FINALLY finding the fire extinguisher... out in the camper???????? I realized there was no fire...Anyway, every window in the house is propped open, and the a/c is running....Whew!
The image was stamped in Noir Black Palette Ink and heat set. I colored it in with Copic Markers and cut it out. The flowers and leaves are Primas. I added twine to the buttons. (Remind me to get some thick thread...GEEZ, that was difficult!)

Faith, I am so sorry about your adventures this morning. I'm just thankful that you and your family are alright. I can see why you had a hard time with that twine. I was thankful that my twine was small. I really like the little flower buttons that you used. I hope the rest of you day gets better.

Holey moley, glad you and your family are okay! After that awful mishap, you create this wonderful card - how do you do it?! I'm afraid it would have affected my mood and therefore my colors if it happened to me. Yours is quite gorgeous!! Love the colors, image, composition, buttons, flowers and lovely DP.
