A chance to break out a new stamp set & work in the use of buttons (or in this case, a button). I looped the hemp thru the button, then adhered it to the button back with a glue dot. Another glue dot adheres it to the card.
The background was "aged" with several different Distress Ink colors and a sponge. Then the backgound image was stamped over it.

Great choice of dp to highlight your main image. The button is the perfect embellishment especially since the woman in the house probably has sewn on many!
