This was a very challenging sketch for me, but I really like how my card turned out. The distressed looking paper was done with the wrinkle free distress technique. I love how the colors looked together. I used black stazon and stamped the flowers on the gold cardstock with my clearly inspired floral images. I masked the cone flower and stamped the violets over it. I colored them in with my prisma colored pencils. My butterfly was stamped with black stazon and colored with prisma colored pencils. I cut it out and have it on dimensionals. I changed the oval on the sketch to the little metal embellishment that says HOPE. I altered the two circles to be my two little black brads. The lovely checked ribbon is a repurposed ribbon. Yesterday I recieved a package from Mothermark that had a bag of Mike and Ikes with this ribbon tying the bag shut. It was perfect for today's card.
What do you think?
