We recently took our adult children on an Alaskan cruise and I wanted to make them each a special 'invitation' for the night we took them out to a formal dinner in one of the ship's special dining rooms. Made a suit card for my son and 3 little black dresses for our daughters/daughter-in-law. They were great fun to make and the kids loved them! (And they all accepted the invite to join us for a wonderful meal...)
For the girls' cards, I punched layers of black textured cardstock with my SU edge punch, sponged on some Opalite Arctic Emerald to give them a little sheen and added some embossing, ribbon for straps and a little corsage. Finished them up with a little braided cord for a necklace. The back of the dress is finished the same without the layers.

I can certainly see why this has been favorited 13 times! It's fabulous. What a wonderful cruise for you and your family, and taking time to create such a wonderfully elegant and sophisticated invite to a very special dinner. This is wonderful. I see a few others lined up here, so I'll go check them out too. This is just gorgeous and appears to be to so time consuming!
