This week's sketch with a twist was to go masculine. I don't own a lot of masculine stamps, never mind one that would fit this layout, so I went with this wonderful "go to" Aspen leaf stamp.
Nothing was flowing today in the mojo department so I went CAS. Since I didn't have any black brads, I dug out my black eyelets - haven't used them in quite some time and the pounding was therapeutic LOL.
I also dug out the All in a Row set I have barely used so I could add some faux stitching. Murphy's Law, I messed up the alignment on the top row - told you it was one of those days!
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Marisa, I LOVE that leaf image. Perfect for a masculine card. I've been gathering "man" stamps to help as they are SO hard to do, but leaves work fantastic also. I love seeing the black eyelets on your card and the faux stitching is great. I wouldn't have noticed that top line had you not mentioned, so I think it will be just fine!!! TFS!

Yup, wouldn't have likely noticed where your 'sewing machine' skipped on the top line but we're always hardest on ourselves, aren't we... Great guy card - so it looks like you've wrapped up another challenge set - great job. One of these times you're going to be the one doing the Verve happy dance! Chuckled at your comment that the pounding was 'therapeutic'...

I love the beautiful blues and gray with the aspen leaf and black eyelets to make it pop! I have All in a Row, too, and have never been successful in using it...even with a stamp-a-ma-jig!! LOL! I got a kick out of your therapy remark. Thanks for the wonderful comments you always leave for me!
