I'm am totally beside myself with Nutmeg, aka Mutnik. I'm happy she's my friend, but some of her strange behaviors just put me right over the edge. Here's the scoop as they say in the reporting industry:
Apparently, in today's Sacramento Bee, our Ms Nutmeg (not to be confused with our Miss Brooks)decided she'd play 'dress up' with her husband's halloween custome. She's been trying to figure out how to lounge around this summer rather than work, so her thinking was: If I go door to door, maybe I could collect enough change to pay the A/C bill this summer.
It was only when she arrived at 1273 Reuter Ranch Road, my former home, that she was greeted by a guy who just happens to head up the County Legislature working on allegations of a corrupt CHFD! #Not a good time to be impersonating a CHFD guy, Nutmeg#.
When she accepted his invitation to come in, she didnt realize he was calling the cops while pretending to be pouring lemonade. With lemonade in one hand and cuffs on the other, the article said she clueless as to what was going on. She tried to explain her circumstances to no avail. Apparently, her fake tears didnt work this time.
The paper said they interviewed DH who didnt seem to be in any big hurry to cough up the $500K bail.

Dear Annie Jo - this card is totally awesome. I really did not recognize my sister at first. After reading your story, I realized it must be true since she did not answer my Saturday morning call to her today. I went back and looked at the card and saw my sister in disguise holding the dog tightly, I knew it was true. She loves dogs so much she would take one with her on her fraudulent money donation trip. She buys dog treats for all of the dogs on her pool cleaning routes. She knows them by name and even had to rescue a little one that fell into the pool. She is a dog's best friend!!! With the economy the way it is, I am sure the money she is collecting is for the dogs she loves so much. Please do not judge my dear sister in a bad way. I am sure Annie Jo meant no harm in telling this story. I would be willing to accept any and all cards sent to me to sell to raise money for her bail. I am ONLY thinking of my dear sweet sister.
hugs to you Anne,
