Check out this wonderful Teapot and card from Cindy this week. I'd love to see all the details better - it looks like there is a little trapdoor in the roof, and something that could be a ladybird or a big red berry, or a penguin dressing up as a robin, on the handle.
I am so glad we are bird-watching. I've borrowed back this little *binoculars case* that I cased from Faith last year for DH - Safari Bag. by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
I forgot my glasses, so when I got to the airport this morning I think I boarded the wrong flight. I don't know if I've ended up back in Paris (wishful thinking), or maybe I'm meeting up with Peggy to travel down with her - anyhow I found a French bakery...
The papers are miscellaneous DCWV, Old World and maybe Asian. The image from Rubber Romance was stamped onto watercolour paper with Memories Artprint Brown and coloured with watercolour pencils. I added Glossy Accents to all the windows, but you can't see it in the photo. The edges are distressed (to DH's distress - what are you doing that for, it's not pristine anymore). The green layer is embossed with the leafy ef and wiped with Peeled Paint distress ink (more commentary from DH - why Peeled Paint???). Well, the Shady Tree bakery for birds has to be down in the woods, doesn't it? The edges of that layer are distressed too. The base layer has faux stitching around the edges. I added 3 Making Memories snaps. Yikes, they weren't meant to be that close to each other - I'd forgotten I wasn't using the little bitty 1/4" ones I mostly use.
The bird queuing up to get in is from Sideshow Stamps, stamped on scraps of paper, again with brown ink.
Penguin? What Penguin??? I don't see any penguin...
I know it's a bakery and I said I'd bring baking, and I even remembered to buy soft brown sugar for the peanut-butter cookies (well, our birds eat their way through a ton of peanuts!!). But Irish strawberries were on special offer this morning, so I'm bringing strawberry icecream instead.

I can almost smell the strawberries from here. Like the leaf bkgrd. I am with Kris. Where is the penguin? I think maybe some of your strawberries fermented. I have to say though he is darn cute.

I see the penquin! I see the penquin! Looks just like the one I saw in the forest in SteamBoat this weekend! Silly, can't you see it? What a fun card you brought to the teaparty. I love the image and the stitching, perfect for this challenge. And I love that you brought up the subject of the bakery, yummy!
I just might need to feature another *part* of this teapot at another teaparty! Or I just might post some more pictures of this teapot if you are good and well behaved at the tea party today! Snort! I just hope we don't have any issues with the purple-throated fruitcrow stealing the strawberries in your ice cream. We might have to notify the game warden of the possibility of some troubles brewing.
Thank you for coming again Sabrina and for bringing desert, a link to my challenge and your awesome binoculars! Don't ya love it when you get to use your things again!

I love your little penguin. That bakery has some yummy smells coming from it. I think we should go into it and order some treats to go with your icecream.

Yummm you always make me hungry. I love this image. It is perfect for this challenge. I had to laugh at the Peeled Paint comment. I have always wondered why the chose that name. Hope you find the right flight. Picking up Peggy will be tricky as she has a new address. Hope you don't miss her.. Super job Sabrina...
