These images were RAK images from some of my SCS friends. I wanted them to be to scale to eachother, so I scanned them onto my computer and I manipulated them to be the right size. I colored them in using my prisma colored pencils. The dp was done with sponges and crayola markers. I scribbled the markers onto my acrylic block and added some water and then dipped the sponge into that. I then added lines to it by scribbling the marker onto the block again and added water and used a paint brush to pick up some of the color and I painted stripes. I finished it up by adding color to the block again and added water and stamped my itty bitty background into the color.
I distressed the edges of my one panel. I sewed around the edges of the blue panel with twine.
What do you think?
I love bird watching. I love seeing the bald eagles in the winter. I love seeing the first robin in spring. I love seeing hawks fly over the cornfields.I love seeing hickadees and cardinals. I love eating chicken, especially fried.

MariLynn, this is so pretty. I love how you are so creative to change the sizes of the images. Your coloring is great, and I love the background and the stitching.

What a great card, MariLynn. Wonderful background, and I see that while I opted for faux, you went for the real stitching. Very fancy two-story birdhouse, too! That reminds me of another of the Snoopy DVDs - but it's so long since I've seen it that I can't remember which one...

OMG! Marilynn, you are not supposed to eat the birdies! I fear we must keep you at bay when we get to the really rare birdies so that we don't have to pay any fines when the game warden appears and we have to hide the evidence of your lunch! Snort!
Your card is awesome, Ms. McGiver. You are always modifying this and modifying that to make the perfect card! Your lacing of twine reminds me of the little birdies in Cinderella when they were weaving the ribbons through her dress....Hee! The brilliance of the blue is wonderful!
Oh Marilynn.....I got your little teapot and teenie weenie little card on Friday! I took it with me to the cabin in Steamboat and showed all of the girls. I told them how you spoil me with wonderful cards and treats! Thank you so much for it....you amaze me. You make the most unique and creative things! I love it....gotta take a picture and load it up to my RAK gallery! Thank you so much girlfriend!

What a beautiful, creative card. I love the birdhouse image that you've colored so perfectly.
I have a Robin nesting on my deck. I got to see the first hatch today. The baby is so cute. Three more to go.

A two story condo no less! Such a bright and cheery card. I can almost hear the bird singing. Hope it doesn't get frightened away by the bear horns that some people are packing.
We have to get the tea goers to understand you are MariLynn and I am Marilynn. It is confusing enough as it is.
