Don't you just love it when you are 'cruising' through some Blogs and then you discover something exciting...I found the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge on Priscilla's Blog...you can check it out here:
This is their first Challenge and I am so happy to be part of it - it has taken me a few days to get organised...but...what can you do!?! LOL!! I used a retired set that I recently purchased and embossed the roses and a flourish, which I cut diagonally to make the corners....I then lightly chalked the images, adding sponging and paper piercing, finishing it off with a touch of green around the image.
I layered this on a scalloped Nestie oval which is also pierced and sponged and added pearls on each side of the image. It is then layered on embossed CS - Textured Textiles, which is my all time favourite, it works well with this vintage look. The edges of the card have been sponged as well...and that was it, a relatively quick card...well, it would have been if my kids didn't decide that they needed my attention as soon as I got started....isn't that the way - no wonder I am up until all hours to have my 'play time!'
Thank you for looking and for your comments, I value each one!
