Here's the 3rd Get Well card I'm sending my mom. Her foot surgery was today and it went well. They ended up having to graft some bone and extend a tendon, so the pain will be more intense and the recovery may take longer than originally expected.
Anyway, I decided to send my mom a card a day for a while so that I could use up my stash, but instead, the first 3 cards I've sent her were made for challenges this week. So much for that idea, but I'm sure she'll appreciate receiving them, whether they're "hot off the rubber" or old hats.
So on to the card...I created this for today's sketch challenge and the demo Workshop Wow challenge, which was to use the faux seersucker technique (stamp your CS and run it through your paper crimper, then rotate 90 degrees and crimp it again). Dare I admit that I purchased this set during the preorder, and this is the first time I've used it. SHAME ON ME!
Well, TFL & HUGS!

I really like the paper crimped and the lovely image. Raspberry Tart is one of my very favorites. Hope your mom continues to do well and I'm sure she appreciates your wonderful cards.

Nice card. I just know your Mom will appreciate this card, along with all the others. I think it's wonderful that you're giving Mom some attention each day. She will feel it on her end--moms love that kind of stuff. And it makes daughters feel pretty good, too. Be very proud of your work--it's wonderful and shows off the technique so well.
Thanks for sharing.
