I managed to get my act together this morning and actually get to the party. I obeyed the rules and was able to boldly walk in the front doror. http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2009/...white-now.html
And I won't be the last to arrive!
Before starting this card, I made myself a cup of Pomegranate White tea to get me in the mood. And this card is what resulted.
Since yesterday was MariLynn's birthday, and this is MariLynn's birthday week (in fact, it's MariLynn's birthday month) I kept with a birthday theme.
I embossed the BG with the CB Floral EF and the small white strip with Swiss dots. The lacy border is a Fiskars punch. I layered the flower from 2 sizes of flower punches and added some bling for the center. The sentiment is from Upsy Daisy.
I'm so glad I was able to join you all for tea today. I have to start being more reliable and get to the party every week. Now that I'm here, it time to look at all the other lovely creations.
LOL - I just noticed I've mis-spelled my name on my card. Did someone spike the tea???

Very pretty tea pot card! I love the pretty pink you paired with the white! The CB panels are great and so are the punched borders! Beautiful flowers! So glad you made it to the party! I hope no one knocks the pomegranate tea out of your hand and onto your white outfit!

A perfect birthday card to bring to a tea party! Love all the different textures you used and the pink paired with the white. Glad you will be at the table today. Be careful though as Cindy is giving little jobs to people.

Hi MaryAnn! Whoo Hoo! You are here again! I love your little pomegranate white tea card! How did you know that is what we are serving today! Whuut? Pomegranate stains white clothes? Another thing I did not know besides the whole Labor Day/no white shoes thing! Hee!
Your card is awesome. I love the borders and the layering and its very nice in a birthday theme with just the right amount of bling for Marilyn!
Thanks for coming! I am sure the girls will fill you in on what's been happening lately...or maybe its best not to know! Thanks for coming...and the link!!

Oh, such a pretty birthday card!! I love the different EF you used, and the double punched border. And SUPER choice of colors, using PINK with your white! ;) Careful with your tea... there has been some falling/pushing going on today.

Lovely card MaryAnn, truly sweet and so precious. About the little fairy, don't be fooled, she is sort of my alter ego this week and for stopping the aging factor...NOT IN A MILLION YEARS, she said. Sorry, but she does help with miss spelling. LOL
Nice to see ya at the party. The more the eviler...I mean the merrier. Bwwwwwahhhh!

LOL... that is too funny. I think it was the pomegranite... I have not tried that tea. It sounds good. I love white tea. I never wear white before the Memorial Day weekend. We must give Cindy a fashion lesson.
Love this beautiful card. The spash of pink is perfect. Great job Mary Ann...Hugs.

How lovely and clean and crisp this looks. Hope it stays that way and doesn't get mussed up at the party. I really like the big bling in the flower, and the different embossed panels.
Cindy's giving little jobs to people? I didn't hear that...I'd better leave quickly to get back home.
