That Cindy, she is so with the times! She knows that the old rule of not wearing white before Memorial Day is way outdated! Just yesterday, the front page of the Life section of my newspaper said WHITE, NOW! So we'll all be wearing white to the tea party this week! We get to include one other color so the white is not overpowering. And I think we are having white cake in honor of MariLynn's birthday which was Sunday!
I CBed my Shimmer White CS with the Leafy Branch folder and mounted it on Kraft (my other color because it was like the teapot handle). I colored some shimmery embossed white flowers with a Copic marker to make them Kraft and added tiny pearls to the centers. I popped these up onto the branches. Added a Kraft taffeta ribbon to finish my simple card!
Glad I was not late today! I managed to get to the party on time even though I had to spend some time changing out my winter wardrobe for more whites!
Thanks for the invite to the party, Cindy!

Carla, this is so pretty! I love the shimmer!! I almost paired kraft with my white too, but ended up with pink instead. Glad we didn't end up dressing alike! LOL Hmm kraft taffeta. I'm a demo, and didn't even realize there was a kraft color ribbon. On my next order for sure!! Your card is just perfect.

Hi Carla! Happy Teapot Tuesday! I love the little card you brought to the teaparty. I love the shimmer and the awesome contrast to the flowers! And the flower centers could not be more perfect! How fun that you wore your wonderful white clothing...
And now for the hard part...I am so sorry about what happened this morning when Kelly (schmircat) popped in for a few minutes and started telling you you should not be in white! Like you say even the newspaper says its okay! Anyway I feel real bad that she pushed you in a mud puddle and now your pretty white clothes look like Vanilla/Chocolate Marble Ice Cream!
I asked Kris to come over and help cheer you up. I am gonna see if I can find Kelly and tell her she has a dry cleaners bill to pay! Have you seen her? She left her kinda fast!!!
Snort!!
Whisper:
Thanks for coming....thanks for the link...thanks for bringing the wonderful card! What dry cleaners do you use?

How gorgeous, I knew you had another one in you! LOL
This is divine Carla, love all the shimmers and the flowers. Great folder. So you are digging out your whites. Be careful I feel a bit giddy today, I have missed the fun so much I might just spill some tea on your whites!

This is so beautiful and I am sure it will be cased by some of the tea party ladies including me! Wished I had read your comment about white before I posted mine and I wouldn't have dated myself with the Memorial Day thing.

Awwww I heard Kelly was really mean to you this morning. What did you do to provoke her? It takes two to fight ya know. I bet she is jealous because you made this gorgeous card. Yep. Love the shimmer and shine. Those are some cool looking flowers. I was wishing I had some flowers to color this morning. I went the other route. You let me know if you need anything. My Mummy knows people that can take care of whatever you need...P.S. tell hubby that house work is so overrated....Hugs

Carla: That's a tough challenge with the plain teapot, but your managed to bring life to your card with it. I love that you used shimmery white paper and added texture with the ef. Love those goldish sparkly flowers too! Great job! TFS!
