I drew this scene yesterday in hopes of it working for the challenge today. I may have fudged a little, but nobody said you had to use flowers! So I used veggies, which are new this month from Clear Dollar Stamps .
I was also inspired by several different things. One was the weather lady on channel 3 showing how to build a box garden. So I drew a box for my garden. Then the comics had the perfect scene for my backyard so I drew that too. Last but not least I was inspired to include this darling little puppy because my DD and her BF just got a new puppy. The little *puppy surprise* was my idea. LOL So tread carefully if you visit my garden! ...........details........
Stamped and clear ep my veggies, colored with copic markers. Boxed everything in. Colored with copics the frame but the dirt with prisma pencils and gamsol.
Drew the rest of the scene, colored with the same combo as above. Added all the white with the gel pen.
Put a MS fence up so the puppy doesn't get out. Doodled on it and sponged it with tea dye. Sponged the edge of my scene as well.
Put this on a purple card that I stamped the black circles on and then added the white gel pen again. Hoping this would qualify for the bandanna part in case the garden didn't. lol Well, hope you like it....................TFL :0)

This is wonderful, Cathy! I love your garden and the yard scene w/ the fence. Your little doggie may need some Alpo instead of just veggies. He's looking a little thin, lol. Super card!

What an adorable garden scene. Good thing you put up a fence.....that puppy looks very interested in romping in the vegies. Love your creative take on the bandana tech. TFS

Cathy, what a great scene you created. Your garden looks so pretty. I never would have thought to bandana veggies. The little doggie is so cute. I had to laugh at your doggie suprise. Very creative card.
