Thanks! Actually, the coloring is very simple when using those great chalk inks and the mini applicators. I just dabbed the color on, sometimes directly from the petal point pad, and did some smearing/blending with my finger. I'm really not a very good colorer, only with the chalk inks!!

These are gorgeous!! Thanks for the tips and resource for coloring. I've been wanting to make some tiles - in fact I was thinking of making coasters from this set for Christmas.

Wow, these turned out really great! I love how you colored them, and aren't those little applicators just the greatest??!! I've used them a lot too when coloring in images on tumbled tiles, but I used Fabrico ink pads - have to try the chalk pads now because I love the effect you got here. Are they permanent from baking without sealing them? When making coasters, I like for them to remain absorbent. TFS. Linda

Yes, I "believe" the chalk inks are permanent when baked. At least that is what I have read. I made 2 coasters with the chalk ink & baked it and so fa so good. They seem to be ok.

Absolutely beautiful! I live in Germany now and am moving to Italy. This will be my new set of coasters for my new house! Thank you so much for the wonderful idea!
