The floral background on the oval was made using a new technique to me. I embossed the flowers with clear e.p. onto watercolor paper. Then I sprayed the image with water really soaking it the paper. I used my acrylic mounts and pressed blush blossom and ruby red onto the mount to get some of the ink onto a pallet. Finally, using an aquapainter, I picked up some of the ink from the acrylic and just touched the tips of the painter onto the petals of the flower. The ink spread out really nicely on it's own and the embossed area resisted the ink. I learned this technique in a blog post found here: http://stampspaperscissors.typepad.c...t-doin-it.html
Thanks for taking a look!
