For Our Daily Bread Designs' sketch challenge. I stamped the eagle image onto copper cardstock and colored it with Prismacolor pencils. I've never thought of doing that before, but it covered and blended really well, and a little shimmer shows through the image - pretty cool! I used a fine permanent marker to color in the eye. The verse looks pink, but it's actually Brilliance Cosmic Copper ink. Metallics are so hard to photograph... The card base is kraft paper, stamped over with a script stamp (copper again) and sponged around the edges. I love that batik paper...it was actually a folder, but I "repurposed" it because I thought it would look cool on a card. I'll have to pick up some more of those. Fun to have card supplies unique to Indonesia!

I really like the textures on the eagle . . . really eye catching! And the glint off of the beak is perfect! If I stare at it long enough, will it blink? A great card and a great Scripture verse. . . . but aren't they all! ; )
Super, super job!
