Ok, so stop me if this is old news...but I wanted to make my flower pot card stand up on its own (or maybe it does stand on its own and I just didn't understand how?), so I made it a little kick stand. My pot is a little bigger than the tutorial, so I used a 2 by 10 1/2 inch strip of paper and scored it at 3 1/2, 7, 8, and 9. I adhered the 3 1/2 inch section to the back of the flower pot, folded it into an kickstand, and adhered the last 1 1/2 inches to the back again. The score in the bottom lets it fold up for mailing. My insert ended up being pretty heavy, but it still held its weight.
Thank you so much for the idea, I have been trying to figure out a way to get it to stand up short of buying one of the little plate stands to give with it. I love the card!

The choice of stamps, dimension and color takes the flowerpot card to a whole new level, beautiful! I think the stand is a great idea too. Gives me an idea and thinking out loud, it would be neat if it was a whole boquet (multi-sided) but that would be a lot of work, that would be like a Mom's day gift, not a card!
