Nikki!!! This is fabulous!!! Did you sew on the cd or what? Pierced the holes, threaded? I really want to know. It is so cool and amazing to look at. While it makes a fabulous card, I would take that gorgeous cd off and use as an ornament, too. Beautifully done!!!! Thanks so much for playing FTTC!!!

Hi all,
indeed, you have to place a paper pattern on the CD, and drill all holes very carefully with a 1 millimeter drill (for the best result you have to place the paper on the shiny side : the drill always damages slightly the side it is coming out of the CD)
the next step is to do the embroidery manually with a small needle -- you get a special effect using a thread that changes color
WOW, that CD Christmas Card is beautiful!.
I have a stack of CDs waiting for something like this.
Where might I find a pattern like the one on your card?
