was the inspiration for my card. Since it was a straight long dress, I decided to make a long tall card. I love the colors on this dress. I decided to make my own dp. I took water color paper and water color paint. I took some of the colors from the dress and randomly placed them on the paper. The white swirlies on the dress made me think of the marble technique from Monday. So after the watercoloring dried I got out beads and white acrylic paint and added the white by rolling the beads in the white paint then letting them roll on the paper. My butterflies are each stamped 4 times. The first time on the water color paper. The other three times they were stamped and glued together. While the glue was still wet, I bent them to give them some dimension. I painted them with clear fingernail polish to give them shine. I stamped flourishes to show flight. I finished the card off with ribbon and a turquoise and black matte.
What do you think?
Thanks Stef for the fun inspiration.
