Hello everyone! I hope you have had a great week! I don't know when I've been busier! Yesterday I was gone for 16 hours to a leadership summit with our Church and then DH and I took "the long way home" and enjoyed the mountains... but today I am dragging!
Anyhow... I made this card for the Twisted Sister Challenge in which Shirley told us to use Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Ribbon and a Scripture, and to use Sketch 116. It also is for the Bible Verse Challenge.
I used a Chocolate base and matting, stamped the Verve Stamp onto Very Vanilla, ran a Sage Shadow panel through the Big Shot with a Sizzix Wedding Texture plate, and used a piece of the Amazing Grace Collection of DP from Flair Designs. LOVE this paper! The ribbon is Papertrey Inc and I used an unkown slide. I kept this very clean and simple. It is for a man in our Sunday School Class who lost his job and is really struggling emotionally with it. I hope it reminds him that our Lord has everything under control, and will meet his needs.
Thanks as always for looking! Sorry I haven't been around much this week... hope to remedy that next week! Have a great weekend!

Holey Molley I'm with you, I love that DP. Beautiful piece and I know it will bring comfort to your church friend. I remember going through this with my DH back in 1985 when the bottom fell out of the economy in Texas. It was a bad time for all but we're still here and it was all with God's grace!

This is gorgeous Grace. Very thoughtful too. Sometimes when a person loses his/her job a big chunk of identity goes with it. It could be a good time to find who you are in Christ.
I always want an email or a sticky note from God filling me in on the plan!!!
