Great challenge! I like using black to set off other colors but today I used it more as a part of the otherwise monochromatic color scheme.
I stamped the main image twice on white c/s, cut out one whole image and only the soldier of the second one. I used markers to add a little color to his fatigues and sponged around the edges. The soldier was attached on top of the other image w/ foam tape.
The tan layer was bugged w/ the script folder and a little lt brown ink was rubbed on top. It's attached to a black layer then a tan card. A narrower black panel was attached on top of the tan bugged layer and three gold brads added in the corner. The soldier image is attached on top w/ foam tape.
The sentiment was stamped on white then the corners were rounded. It was edged w/ black and the the edges were also sponged.
