This is for Mothermark's Tuesday teapot challenge. Keep a Lid on it! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
Cindy invited a Genie to the party. Well, not really invited but Arabian Nights and I Dream Of Jeannie became the theme. One of woman living in the Sultan's home was so excited she decided to order her own teapot. Well, the Sultan's oil check hadn't come yet this month so she had to order a teapot with just pearls instead of precious gems. Because of the money restraints the woman couldn't order the silk cloth she wanted so had to go with ribbon instead. The vanilla circle is embossed but doesn't show in the picture. The diamonds are outlined with a gold pen.

Super pretty tea pot card! I love gold-edged diamonds and the sweet little tea set with the pearls! The ribbon is really pretty, too! This is perfect for the genie party today!

LOL that is a super story. Only you could come up with that along with this chic card. Love the faux diamonds. Hope they get some funds soon. How will they eat. Super job.

Well, I guess this terrible economy has even effected the richest of the rich! You card made with less than desirable pearls and ribbon instead of silk is to die for! I love the little teapot stamp and the soft colors! She should be happy with this. She might even become frugal! Hee!
I bet this card is really pretty in real life with the gold trim around the diamonds. I love how you were inspired! Note that there has not been much talk about food this week! Must be the GEnie pants and belly buttons! I say bring on the food! Snort!
Thanks Marilyn, for another fun week, for the link and for bringing this awesome little card!
