I made this card for Cindy's Tea Party - Keep A Lid On It! Check it out here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2009/...lid-on-it.html
This week's party is going to be a wild one! There'll be genies coming out of bottles and who knows what all else will happen! We are expected to wear our best genie outfits - now that may be a problem! Not sure I have anything appropriate in my closet, but I'll go look!
I used my Cuttlebug folders to create my card today. After embossing, I went over the raised areas with Copic markers. A little doodling and some Stickles and that was it!
Thanks for the invite to the party, Cindy! Can't wait for the fun to start!

Well now, if that isn't an elegant card. I think the little row of embossing in the centre loks likd dancers in ballet skirts - they can come and perform in my Big Top . I knew that folder you used for the background would be good for this teapot.

Awww heck Carla....just throw a scarf around your body and come on over! No worries, Sabrina made us a tent to party in and no one can see us. Unless of course, the Genie gets out and blows the top off the tent! Yikes!
I love your card! Why didn't I think of that embossing folder to get the stripes! Dag-nabbit!! What a perfect embossed design with a rhinestone in the center to get the fun little pattern on the teapot! You rocked this challenge.
I am with you, I am just cringing at the thought of what might happen once the rowdy ones get here! Do you think I should see if someone could bring some industrial glue to keep the lid on? I am beginning to have second thoughts about this tea party! Snort!
I love seeing you every week. So fun! Thanks for the link too and for bringing your awesome card for us all to see. I can't wait to see your attire!

Well..................did you find anything to wear. You can see by my card that I went a bit wild with the colors and jewels. I love the cuddlebug golders you used and how you accented them with markers and stickles and love your doodling. Perfect Carla.

How very clever of you Carla to use the cb folder and copic marker for the stripes! Love your flowers with the chems. This is gorgeous. Love your doodling too! Don't worry about dressing up tonight, with a card like this, no one will care what you have on. Great job. TFS :0)
