I fell in love with this DP as soon as I saw it. I love how the pink stripes are all sparkly. And isn't this girl adorable?! Mimi with Tulips was coloured with Prismas + Gamsol, and added glitter to her headband, collar, heart buttons, heart on the overalls, and the tulips and bees wings. Photographing a card with glitter always makes it look a bit gaudy - rest assured it isn't in real life!! The fancy diecut corner is from the CB Vintage Dies set and is popped up on 1mm mounts. I ran a scrap of green cs thru the CB Textile ef before attaching to pink cs which I punched with the Lace Border punch and these are also popped up on 1mm mounts. The sentiment is stamped using the Versacolor Orchid pigment ink and embossed with clear ep and also popped up on 1mm mounts. The silk flowers have a tiny bead in the centre to which I added a little glitter.
I have also decorated the inside of the card - see my other photo. I know it used up more DP and embellies, but I think it looks so pretty and finishes off the card nicely.
This was a fun Challenge! Do you like pink and green together?
