Today's TLC was the rolling marbles technique. Took me a while to find marbles as opposed to those nice glass baubles for flower arrangements, but I got there. My supply of re-inkers is a bit limited, so it wasn't till after I made my background that I decided what to do with it.
I used two green and a brown Tim Holtz distress re-inkers, and then decided it had a sort of woody feel, and would make a good home for an owl .
The owl and branch from October Afternoon were stamped with Memories Artprint Brown onto Core'dinations, then cut and embossed with oval Nestabilities. For the scalloped brown layer, I punched a 1/8" hole in each scallop, and threaded through some narrow satin ribbon. The sentiment is HA, with Queen & Co mini sprinkles. I reckoned it would do as a masculine card, so I left it pretty plain. Both sentiment and owl panel are popped up on foam.

Sabrina, your marbled background looks really similar to mine. We both need more colors of reinkers. I love how you framed your little owl with the scalloped oval. I like how you laced the ribbon around the edges.

This is one beautiful card. I love your background colors. Your laced scallop is just so darn creative and the owl image is perfect for it. Nice work here!!!
