This card is for the CAS12 challenge, Little Bits of Ribbon: Forums at Splitcoaststampers. Thanks, Jen, for another fun challenge!
I made this for my niece, who loves to read, so it's not as bossy-sounding as it could be, LOL! This card is 7.25 long and 3.75 high. The colors were inspired by the cover of an issue of Good Housekeeping magazine. The focal point piece is a bookmark and is attached to the card with removable adhesive. The letters are from PTI's Trajan alphabet and are punched out with a 7/8-inch circle punch. The green scalloped mattes are a Martha Stewart punch. The ribbon is from Michaels...I love their gingham ribbons because they are so soft to the touch. I lined the threaded water punch with two layers of cardstock. The green galore shows through the circles and lovely lilac below the scallops.
