Well, I am not a girlie-girl, don't make very girlie cards, and this is about as close as you'll ever see me to a set of heels like that!!
But I loved making this card for the Crafty Secrets challenge this week from Pammy Jo. Thanks so much for making the "P" for pleats!! (B is for buckle and J is for jewel)
I've never done pleating on a card and had planned all along to do just a strip of DP pleated, stitched across and used like ribbon or background. Then I pulled out the Score-Pal and made two scores every half inch and these little inverted pleats were born! Once they were all folded, I put a piece of tape across the back to attach the ribbon (belt). Then I cut the sides at an angle to give it more of a skirt shape.
All of the stamps are from the Crafty Secrets set Glamour Girls, and the shoes are embossed in black.
I used a little Sakura glitter pen here and there to sparkly it up a bit.
The sponging on the DP was done with the blending tool and then I used the Weave backgrounder from CHF to give a fabric look and make it more vintage.
I switched the card base from light gray to pink at the last minute - and so glad I did!!
Thanks for looking! Hope you are enjoying the challenge and if you haven't played yet, please come join us ;) !!

Great flirty skirt - love it! The weave BGer has really done a great job of making that DP more fabric-like. I'm with you on the heels though - keep 'em for cards!

Love that skirt! How creative. I also really like how you stamped the sentiment right on the dp. That bkg stamp does really make it look like fabric. Love this!!
