Here is a card that I made for my brother in law who just had surgery and is really having a tough time of it. He has a farm house in SW Virgina and has several mules, so I thought this card would be appropriate for the occasion. I used a free image that I found on line---http://coloringpagesforkids.info/donkey-coloring-pages/
then colored the image with Prima pencils and OMS then layered in on a rectangle Nestibility. Added a few flowers that were cut with Fiskars flower punch and 3mm flatback rhinestone. The grass was cut with Crircut Plantain Schoolbook cartridge. I added 3 Making Memories metallic brads. Words are computer generated and layered on oval/scallop Nestibilities. The inside reads "Wishing You A Speedy Recovery"

Way toooo cute and totally appropriate I'd say! Hope it doesn't hurt when he smiles, cause he's gonna smile for sure when he gets this! Good luck to him in his recovery. TFS. : )

This is really a great card! I've got some friends who could use this -- one had back surgery and one had a hip replacement. Thanks for the great idea! Jackie R.
