Tea for a Sketch by jaymerz at Splitcoaststampers
Congrats to Jamie,,AKA Jaymerz,,,for being chosen as the featured stamper this week. Beth...great choice.
Jamie's gallery is really great....check it out. She had several cards that were geared to tea and since I'm making favors for the Mother's Day Tea that my partner and I are giving....my mind went in that direction. The above card is where I started this session and my card reflects what my subconscious self did with it ! ha ha
I changed the colors, layout and wording but stayed with her theme.
Hope you like it.

How sweet is this card, you did a lovely job with color and layout. I don't like tea but getting a card like this would help me reconsider. Good job

Marcelle,,,,
Taking Tea is more a state of mind then a drink... It's a time to be peaceful and slow down...to enjoy a brief respite from all of the OTHER time in your life. It's a time that we pamper our guests and make them feel special. If you like coffee...there is a tea called Matte Latte that is coffee flavored. There are MANY tisanes that are flavored by flowers, herbs or citrus...not all beverages that call themselves Tea are made from the camillia sinensis plant. Even the foods that are served at Tea are special and fussy and dainty. Find a nice Tea Room in your area and give yourself a treat.
I'm SURE that they will serve coffee or sparkling water in a crystal glass if you prefer. The good china and crystal will be used and you will leave having had a nice break.... I love your SCS name by the way....Never Enough Thyme !!! Ohhh Golden Lemon Thyme Tea Bread is yummy.....topped with home made lemon curd....
Happy Days to you....

Tina, this is just to fabulous and so elegant. Perfect for a
Tea Party. I love the tea cup image with the violets in it.
The softnes of the coloring, the sentiment tag and just that hint of glitter.
