Layouts don't get much simpler than this but I wanted to keep the focus on the lovely lions!
I used Distress inks to watercolor the lions but chose to use the Adirondack ink for the blue wash because it's one of the very few I've found where the colour breaks down with water and I think it makes an interesting tonal effect.
