This is a triple challenge card, I enjoy combining some of the challenges, it really fine tunes what I am doing and on the other hand it makes it more of a challenge....and I am up for that!
The Flourishes Challenge is to have piercing on your card and I have discovered paper piercing over the past few weeks and love it. The colours I have used are from this weeks CC...I do not have the exact colours but have gone as close as I can - I do love the brown as an optional colour, I love the depth it adds.
The StampinB. challenge is a new one that is run by a number of SU Diva's and can be found here:
To qualify for this one we has to have a bee on our card (an insect bee that is!) Being from NZ, I just love those beautiful Bumble Bees, so big and round who defy aerodynamics just by flying....they are adorabe....so I could not resist this one...nor could I resist this Magnolia image which was given to me by my friend Melinda80......the sentiment is from a set of stamps that my friend Hannah (aka bubblefrog) has lent me and I think I am going to REFUSE to give them back as I have fallen in love with them - LOL!!! The punched branches are from both Lesley (aka Marleygo) and Suleika (aka Roxystamper) I couldn't have done this without you generous gals - I love these shared efforts!
The main image is chalked and I have partially paper pierced around the border and also added some piercing on the bees flight path....I did this by hand but love the idea of pierced swirls and patterns on card - so if you know where I can get some or download some, please send me a PM...I can see me getting addicted to that technique!
Thank you for looking and for you comments that are always so encouraging to me as I explore my way through this incredible craft of ours!

Linda, what you do with chalk amazes me every time! Your image is adorable. The punched border and sprigs around the flowers are lovely. I love these colours together. Wonderful and sweet card sister. Bravo! (Mr. Lolly and I will now imagine her with a smile!) Lol XXXOOO

Linda: What a great job you did on these challenges. And, your card is fantastic! I LOVE the colors, the image, the bee, the flowers, all the embellishments and, of course, the decorative border. There's so much to look at and it is so interesting. Keep up the great work! TFS!
