Yes, I have ' hit the bleach' again, this time with my new SU Hostess Set - Rustic Rooster. I was interested to see how this set would go with the technique we are taught at the Worshop I had. I have to say I am happy with it, although I took the eay way out (sorry Ann, just pretend you didn't see this - LOL!) and just lightly painted the bleach on with a paintbrush, which seemed to work quite well too.
Once I had the card together I chalked the 'feathers' stamped onto the CS with a blender pen which made them stand out a bit more and added some extra depth to the roosters feathers. The ribbon is from a RAK sent to me by the lovely Sue (aka Coffeestamper aka Perk) and the button is from a tin of buttons that DH has collected for me from vaious garage sale/yard sales.
I am so into 'cleaning' at the moment - faux cleaning as Pat Smethers calls it- LOL!! I have 101 ideas going through my head...I had better wite them down before I am faint from the bleach fumes!!?!?!
Thank you for looking and for your comments, I enjoy them!!!

Great card Linda and what a nice job you did with the bleach. I always get too much and spoil the look, Ha Ha that is how I go about everything you know like killing snakes. Love that rooster!!!!!!!

Thanks for the tip about painting on the bleach, I always end up with too much doing it the usual way. Beautiful card. I especially like the feathery-looking background you created by chalking the images. TFS!

I really like this Linda! Hey! I know, I can go stamp with bleach all over my shower! I'll be stamping and cleaning. Then tomorrow AM when DH gets in the shower... Mwahahahaha! Of course, when he gets out of the shower the evidence will be gone... Who me? Go nuts and stamp in the shower? You need your coffee honey!

Great card and i love that bleaching technique, whenever I do bleach I get it all over the place and instead of clean, things are a mess! This is really beautiful. I just got this set last week and can't wait to ink it up. TFS
