So I've been in a deep stamping slump lately. Everything I've made has been blech! Then I received my Pretty Paisley stamp... my stamping world is happy again!
Anyways, a few notes on making a latch card (i.e. learn from my mistakes!). I wanted to balance the card visually by putting the latch on the bottom right side... unfortunately, it's much harder to actually insert the latch when the holes/cuts are too far to the right. I didn't want to start over, so I just took the latch part and softened the cardstock by running it over my bone folder several times. I also molded the cardstock around the cut areas to make the latch slip in easier.
The sentiment was stamped, cut out, and the pieces are attached underneath the front of the card.
