This is the card that I made for my friend Beth to give to her at her baby shower. The baby came early (everyone is fine!), so I made it more a Welcome Baby card.
for the card front I used my Big Shot and Serif Essentials alphabet die to make the word baby. I stamped the polka dot bg on pink pirouette cs and adhered it to chipboard before cutting out the letters. I used my eyelet border punch along the choc. chip cs layer under the "baby" panel. The ribbon is from the retired Theatre ribbon originals. The words "sweet" and "girl" were made using the Fresh Alphabet set from Papertrey Ink.
For the inside of the card I used Beate's tutorial ( found here: Pop-Up Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ) to create the pop-up feature. The animals are from Paperworks Co.. I stamped them all on watercolor paper with black stazon and then colored them using the watercoloring with markers technique (tutorial found here: Watercoloring With Markers Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ). I cut them out with paper snips and adhered them to the pop-up strips with sticky strip. I stamped the Grass image (from Unity) along the back of the card in old olive. The "welcome" was made with PTI's Fresh Alphabet and choc. chip ink.
Thanks so much for taking a look!
