This is the card that I made for my husband for Valentine's Day. I was inspired to make this card by one that I saw on Nitestamper's blog, you can find it here http://memystampsandi.blogspot.com/2009/01/xoxoxo.html. I love Chat's work and I love how she used the crystal effects on the little hearts.
I stamped the tic-tac-toe image on vanilla cs in close to cocoa ink and I stamped it on another piece of vanilla cs with riding hood red ink. I used my 1/2" circle punch on the riding hood red hearts and I added crystal effects to all of the red areas. I adhered them over the cocoa image with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment directly on the card front with cocoa ink and again on a piece of vanilla cs with riding hood red ink. I punched out the red heart with my 1/2" circle punch and added crystal effects to the heart. It is adhered over the sentiment with a dimensional. I stamped the large heart from A Happy Heart on the vertical strip with stamped-off riding hood red ink. I sponged riding hood red ink around the edges of the main image panel and the large baja panel. And, of course, I had to add some brads!
Thanks for looking!
