My friend Beth pointed out to me yesterday that I haven't posted anything new since November. YIKES!!! Life has just been crazy busy and now I finally have some time to upload some of the cool projects I have been working on for the past several months!
This is the shower invite that I made for Beth's baby shower. I got the idea for the onsie-shaped card from Lauren Meader's (mytime)blog. here is a link to her AWESOME tutorial- Blogs at Splitcoaststampers.
The card is pink pirouette and I stamped the polka dots with close to cocoa ink. That ADORABLE Gordie the Giraffe is from Paperworks Co. I actually used their other images (Lucas the Lion and Harriet the Hippo) and some of the other invites. I used the watercoloring with markers tutorial (found here-Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers to color Gordie and his friends. I then cut him out and adhered him with a little snail. The trim pieces are all close to cocoa cs. I found the little buttons at Joanns, and they are adhered with a tiny bit of sticky strip.
Now, when I just made the first one as a prototype I thought these would be super easy and quick...40 cards later I was not feeling quite so proud of myself! But I got them all done and I think everyone loved them!
Thanks for looking!
