This is a card I made using one of My Favorite Things newest sets, entitled Ben Paper Dolls. This card was inspired by the Limited Supplies Challenge #215.
This card is actually a spinner card, so the image of the super hero actually spins around and around like that of a game spinner. A resource for creating spinner cards can be found here: Spinner Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
The super hero outfit and Ben were stamped with Marvy Dye black ink onto Georgia Pacific white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.
The smallest yellow panel was made using a brayer and the technique of sponging with the following inks: Sea Shells Conch Shell dye ink and Hampton Art Stamps Color Blast Yellow dye ink.
The large star was computer generated and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is also computer generated. The small white stars are from a star punch and outlined with Copic markers.
Patterned paper and colored cardstock were also used to create this card.
This card is for the LSC215, which was called Triple Play.
1. Three layers and the base...I outlined the small yellow panel with black and dotted the larger yellow panel to give the illusion more layers.
2. Three colors with neutrals...red, yellow, and blue, with neutrals black, brown, white and beige.
3. Three focal points....superhero image, stars, and sentiment.
Thanks for a great challenge, and thanks for looking.
