My daughter needs a couple first communion cards for her husbandÂ’s nieces so this is the second one.
If you need ideas here's another one from my SCS gallery.
-This goes together very quickly.
-I used a brayer to roll the ink onto the rubber and did it multiple times for a deeper color and when I stamped I let the rubber image sit on the cardstock for about twenty seconds so it absorbs all the ink.
-I cut the image along the rectangle border and itÂ’s ready to assemble with the other panels.
-The sentiment was computer generated and that panel scallops are from the Nestabilities set long rectangles.
-Bottom embellishing is Martha Stewart doily lace border punch and Cuttlebug narrow folder embossing. I also border punched the flap on the envelope and this is a hand delivered cardÂ…not sure how that would hold up in the mail systemÂ…IÂ’d lightly dot tacky glue to secure it to the envelope.
-The flowers from EK Success are paper sculpted using a metal ball stylus and also glittered with Art Glitter for adhesive in the center. Tacky glue holds them together and to the card only on the center portion of the punch out.
