Well ladies I see you all brought your fruit. Watch out Dawn may snatch it, she is keeping her girly figure....I hear she keeps it in a flashy gold purse. Shhhhh. You didn't hear it from me. Is this is it? I am in the right place aren't I Cindy? Where is everybody else? I guess they are grocery shopping for their fruit after they saw what we brought. I only brought some grapes.
I went with the art and fruit theme. I tried a technique I have never tried before; melted crayon:Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. I punched out the grapes, paper quilled the leaves and topped it off with a flashy gold ribbon . TFL

Lisa, I love your gold ribbon. The quilled grape leaves are a great touch. I love the way the melted crayon technique turned out. Your grapes are beautiful. I love how each one is unique. Just like us teaparty attendees. Have you joined in on Kelly's poker game? We are gambling stamping supplies instead of money.

Wow, Lisa!! Look at how atsy you are with this one!! The melted crayon turned out so well, and was PERFECT for this!! You always find such unique little touches that make your cards so wonderful. The quilling and the gold ribbon both add so much to those pretty grapes! Great job... and once again, I am feeling overwhelmed and not artsy at all with this one.

Whoa! You quilled, you crayoned, you punched and are dripping in gold! I am so impressed with your card! You were definately inspired by the artsey fartsey side of the teapot! The colors are so vivid and eye catching!
I took one look and knew you were at the right place! Just don't get carried away in the poker room and loose this gem to the other tea potters. I hear they cheat big time!
Thanks for coming again and for including a link in your comments. I am happy you have stuck around even after the shenanigans that happen here!

Well if anyone in this group is artsy fartsy it is you... LOVE this... My fruit is kind of rotten this week. I kept it in my gold bag too long. I love the way you created the grapes. I have never tried the melted background. This is awesome. It gives the grapes such a neat look. You and MariLynn with your awesome quilling. Super job....

I am impressed! Quilled leaves no less. The bkgrd. is beautiful. Maybe you will get to sit at the head of the table. Well, you might not want to do that as I just read something about the table getting overturned.

This reminds me of the work of Eric Carle - so beautiful! I have to say that your grapes and background are wonderful, but so is your framing. The thin lines are super. No bananas needed for you.

Lisa Lara, at first, I thought this must be a mistake. This is art and nothing less. I fully expect to see something like this the next time I visit the gallery. Talk about fantastic....Oh MY!
