Here's my card for this week's MFT Idol judges challenge. I don't have a floral set, per se, but figured this Mothers' Day set with a pot of lilies was close enough. :-)
I've started adding a lot more embellishments to my cards. However, I felt that this card had enough going on - several different (bright) colors, the super lacy border punch and two different patterned papers. I felt that the bow was the only added element that I could add, both from a space and an aesthetics perspective.
I pop-dotted the flower pot & bottom row of leaves. I was going to pop-dot the flowers, too, but they looked really awkward that way. I glued on the flowers that I had colored & cut because I think that still added a dimensional feel to the flowers.

As soon as I saw it I thought it was so perfect (and I thought it was yours before I even read your name - your stuff always looks *just* perfect to me).

This card is gorgeous. I just love it...the colors, the layout. And there's something really special about how all of the designer papers work together, and how it matches the lacy-like trim on the bottom.
