Today's Featured Stamper, justwritedesigns (Julie) has got to be about my favorite stamper here at SCS. I have so many of her cards favorited, I wouldn't have had to go look at her gallery to find one (but I looked anyways, ooh and ahh). ;) I had this one in my favorites because I really liked the layout and the stamps, although I haven't sprung for them yet.
So I made this a little more subdued and traditional Asian in theme with different images, colors, papers, and embellishments. Fewer colors and layers too. I used a black journaling marker around the panels to give the look of more layers. TFL!

Your asian inspired card is magnificent. Love the hint of purple when mixed with those other colors. Love the stamped circle. It's oh so rich and wonderfully asian.

Oh, this is so calm, elegant and pretty! I just love these papers. I couldn't get my Asian on today, but you certainly did a wonderful job! tfs
PS - Yes, there were several cards I wanted to CASE, too, but it was the first warm day to give the dog a bath after a long winter! Lucky for him that he won out over cardmaking, eh?!!! It doesn't always quite work that way around here ... LOL!

Oh Carole! This is so beautiful! The silhouette image and the way it shifts into the different colors is just amazing. I love your faux layers and the wonderful ribbon accent. Thanks so much for taking the time to case me and for all the wonderful comments you leave for me.
