This is April's card. I've had this stamp for years and this is the first it's seen ink; the DP was left over from a recent BD card I made. I was a bit concerned that the plaid pattern might be too dominant, but I think this has turned out OK. The DP 'toned down' a bit after adding all the 'doodle-dots' on the focal image & gold CS and then gold-lined the edge of the DP. I also used a vellum technique learned last spring: stamp your image on the front of the vellum, color on the BACK of the vellum, then apply white-out to the BACK of the vellum, covering ONLY those areas you want to be opaque.
The vellum circle was punched out (2.90") layered on top of the largest scalloped circle (punched) of brushed gold CS. I had run the finished vellum thru my Xyron to in order to adhere it to the brushed gold, then that was adhered to the DP with dimensionals.
