I hadn't made a card all week and finally I decided to do the FS tonight. I enjoyed casing this card, although the original is much nicer.
I started with DCWV pre-embossed white cs as the base of the square card. I used DCWV 70% recycled dp as the second layer. I then used bazzill blue cs as the third layer. I used the large CB square onto the DCWV dp and made 9 large outlined squares. I also used the medium CB squares for the bazzill olive and the blue cs. I also used the CB Birds & Swirls folder on each small square. I went over all the birds with a paintbrush to brush white pigment ink on them. (It didn't come out as nice as hers did), I also added silver self adhesive beads to the swirls. All the squares are raised using 3D squares. I stamped the bird with black stazon on GP white cs. I also stamped it again twice, cut out and colored with my BIC It markers, used a 3D dot and again just cut out the wings and used another 3D dot. I sponged with CTMH blue jean ink for the background and stamped the phrase with black stazon. The main image is layered with the same 70% recycled dp and bazzill blue cs and is raised with 3D squares. I went around all the edges with the black ink pad. This ended up being messy, but I didn't want to start over.
Thanks for the great inspiration.
Things I changed: phrase, self adhesive beads, paper

WOW! Connie, this came out cute. I like the look of the rugged look and the colors are so pretty. Nicely done.
