Here is a 8-1/2 x 11 scrapbook page I did for a picture of me and my son, Sean.
The picture is a black and white picture. I stamped the background using a scroll image from the SpringDream stamp set in Black Ink on White cardstock. I also stamped one of the scroll images on a piece of scrap cardstock and cut it out using my Kai scissors. I highlighted the image with a little red ink using my Tombow Marker. To add depth, I attached it using a Pop Dot (love those Pop Dots!) I used my red Tombow to write the notes and used the lined stamp from LifeThoughts stamp set. I used a 8x8 piece of black cardstock from the Scalloped Cardstock Stack and simply found a scrap of red cardstock to layer and stamp the word Love.
One thing I love about using the unmounted stamps with your scrapbooking projects is you can see where you are stamping with the clear blocks. Another MUST HAVE is an alphabet stamp set (or 2 or 3!). I lined up the letters "LOVE" on my clear block so I could see exactly where I wanted it stamped.
