Oh, hey, Roxie...I would have loved to take on that April's Fool sketch...it would definitely have been an exercise! Instead here's my entry to the SC222..a very nice sketch.
I have need of a sympathy card this week and chose Crafty Secrets beautiful sentiment inked with TH di walnut stain and stamped on GP white cs. My beautiful bird frame is from Stamp Francisco. It, too, is inked with walnut stain, but embossed. I colored with Copics, chalked the bg with Chalkbox creamy brown and added a bit of vintage velvet flowers on the end. The DP is MME, cupid's toile. I cutted both the patterned paper and the cardbase with the leafy branch. The mats are Brazzill linen texture. The big one was distressed with TH paper distresser. I slipped in a pretty bit of SU blush blossom...love that color. The edge of the card was chalked with ChalkBox peach pastel.
Thanks for having a look-see and always...your comments! Happy Wednesday!!!
