This is for Inspriation challenge 173, where we found inspiration in the work of artist Glenda Mosher. She does some beautiful work and I'd love to have some of it hanging in my home. I chose to use her stilllife of pears for my inspiration. You can find it here: http://glendamosher.blogspot.com/ (on the right column, 5 down when you get to her paintings.)
This is also for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #9 (read about it at http://www.flourishesnewsletter.blogspot.com/ )to use something "green" (repurposed, recycled, reused) in the card. The crackled green layer is actually a paint chip I have repurposed. It has a rather unusual shape that I kept to add a little extra interest to the card. The buttons are reused, but like all buttons in my button box, I can't remember their first use. (Some of those buttons date back to my mom's collection.)

Precious card! How we have a thing for buttons we ladies...must be because we remember the feeling when mom would tie our coat buttons, I loved that and doing it for my kids when younger. Ah...what a card like this does to me.
It is very beautiful and eco friendly! Just love the background you stamped on that chip of paint and the buttons are prettier because I know where they come from.TFS
