I don't know who's bringing what this week to the tea party, I haven't read the comments yet, but I'm having birthday cake and ice cream, wearing my favorite color blue, and knocking on the front door.
The tea party I refer to is Cindy Motherway's Teapot Tuesday challenge. You have to check it out if you haven't already - http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2009/...nt-affair.html This week it is an elegant affair so I hope that there won't be any mischief (but, I bet I'll be reading about something flying through the air! Ha! Even if it's someone tripping over their jewels - I mean jewelry).
My butterfly is a recycling project that uses yogurt and jello cup lids, a crimper, sharpies, beads, wire, and a needle tool. I'll have complete directions posted on my blog on Thursday.

Oh what beautiful, vibrant colors. You and MariLynn certainly are impressive with your recycling skills. I would hide my card for awhile if I were you. Seems there has been a bit of skirmish going on or maybe I should say off the red carpet.

Wow, your recycled butterfly is simply gorgeous and over the top elegant! Love your eb bg. Glad you made it to the tea party....and yes there has been flying food stuff all around! But it wouldn't be a tea party with out all the crazy stuff! Wonderful card! TFS :0) As for the Teykol, I could only find it on a German web site, and I don't read or speak German! I did substitute Aleene's, glossy accents.

I will have to check your blog out - that butterfly looks like 4 beautiful little Japanese fans. Better start saving my yoghurt tops - we don't get it often.
The background is gorgeous, too - what a stunning card.

Hi, mind if I sit by you. I'm sneaking in late Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Maybe no one will notice. Duck! Flying food even at this elegant affair? Oh my... Well, before the next cupcake comes, I have to tell you your card is just fabulous. Matches your dress as a matter of fact. You planned it that way? Well aren't you clever. And so resourceful. Do I want some cake and icecream? Sure but just a tiny bit, I'm saving room for Cindy's cheesecake.

Watch out for Clint's boogers and if you see Johnny tell him I'm still sick or he'll stick around and be very annoying with his crying and whining. LOL

Lorraine, your little recycled butterfly is going to be the star of the teaparty. I love it. I wonder if you could substitute pudding lids??? The background for your butterfly is so vibrant and pretty. I'll have a piece of your b-day cake. I think the food lines will go down soon.
