I am making some cards for a friend who regularly orders cards with scripture on them, I have discovered that I DON'T like making cards in bulk - for me it is not about how many you can produce, but about the finished product, especially when it is a card with a scripture...I far prefer to make each one unique and take my time, taking in the truth of the verse....but with these cards there are 5 different ones and she wants 5 of each....so this is the first one....and I am feeling pleased that it wasn't so painful, making 5!
The sentiment is computer generated, inked and then layered on green cs. The lace is a RAK from my friend Ann...and I have to say I love this particular one.....the flowers are layered and I have used ' bling' as the centres, to give a bit of brightness, as the colours are fairly dark and rich! Than of course there are the torn and inked corners that I LOVE - these finished the card nicely! The cards that have been ordered are for encouragement and comfort - I am thinking this one comes under that catagory - what do you think!
Thank you for looking, your comments are always encouraging - thank you!!!

Linda this is beautiful!!! Wowzer! I love cards with a message and this is one of my favorites. Volume and card making don't mix well with me either but you're a doll for doing it for your friend.

I am used to making cards in bulk, I belong to a card swap group at the local scrapbooking store and there are 15 to 20 of us in the group so each month I am making 20 of the same card. I have been a member of this swap group for nearly 2 years, and at one point I had joined 2 swap groups at the store and was producing 2 different sets of 20 cards each month! I put mine together like an assembly line, first I make my sample and then I cut all the parts, stamp the images, ink the edges and then assemble them. I prefer to make cards in bulk that way I always have a few for each occasion premade for when I am short on time.
Good luck with your cards, your friend is really going to love them!

This is terrific. I am with you. I rarely make a card twice. I don't know what it is. I used to swap alot in groups but it just wasn't fun. I think this is beautiful. She will love these. Super job..
